Stagnation is Death. New Covers to Tantalize New Readers!

I’ve gone through many changes in the last year–new bathrooms, a new hip, new releases, joining the list of audio book authors, the list goes on. It’s true that I’ve had to raise prices on my books, but all of my costs have gone up as well as have everyone else’s. I understand that, but facts are facts. The one thing I haven’t done is compromise on the quality of my work, and neither has my cover artist, the inimitable Melinda De Ross.

As many of you are aware, I use only one author name, but I write in many genres. Romance Suspense, Historical Romance, Paranormal Suspense, Fantasy Suspense, as well as regular contemporary romance, sometimes set during the Christmas season. With the exception of my Evie Chambers mysteries, all of my books are written with at least two points of view and in the third person.

The other line of books that doesn’t follow that format is my romantic comedy series, Cocktails for You. Wanting to give that series a boost in view of my newest release, From Paris With Love, I had all of the covers for the books in that series redone. Here they are, hot off the Amazon press.

Naughty Rudolph is the newest book in the series and will be available in time for Christmas. If you have read any of the books in the series, will you be kind enough to go to the book’s page on Amazon and leave a review? It would be much appreciated.

Otherwise, things are much the same. My ability to walk and do the taks I could do before the hip betrayed me three years ago improve everyday. I can walk faster and farther with each passing day. While hubby still helps, I have taken over meals and laundry.

Summer has been hot and dry, something that is beginning to worry people in my area and we’ve been asked to reduce our water usage by 10%. The lawn and plants may suffer, but a few aren’t looking their best now at any rate.

Enjoy the rest of your summer. Do something different, something new, and above all, laugh!

I love historical romance too, and have read quite a few of those. If I’m watching television, you can count on it being a suspense — I’m not a fan of reality TV, sit-coms, or game shows. Writing gives me the most pleasure. I love creating characters that become real and undergo all kinds of adventures. It never ceases to amaze me how each character can take on its own unique personality; sometimes, they grow very different from the way I pictured them! Inspiration comes from all around me; imagination has no bounds. If I can think it, imagine it, I can write it!

  3. I’m also impressed by the sheer volume of the number of your books. Like you, I have a teaching background and began truly writing when I retired, over a decade ago. Today, new stories call me to keep right on writing. I’m going to check out your books and just might dip my toe into romance!
